Molly Durnin – Aug 3
The Tangled Wood is proud to welcome back Molly Durnin on Saturday, August 3 from 6-9pm.
Molly Durnin is an impassioned alternative singer/songwriter who has rapidly emerged from the talented 518 music scene of Upstate New York. Her sultry, uninhibited vocals, percussive acoustic guitar style and sophisticated lyrics invariably excite and captivate audiences. Molly’s passionate devotion to her music and fans has driven her down the east coast with a nonstop show schedule. She presently divides her time between New York and South Carolina.
Molly’s self-produced debut album Run received widespread acclaim after its release in June of 2012. The Times Union called the album “simply exquisite” and Fools Hill Music described it as “smart, sexy pop/rock in the post-modern style.” Molly is planning a return to the studio in 2018 to record her much-anticipated follow-up to Run. This new album will transform four years of performing and artistic introspection into a provocative new sound for longtime fans and new listeners alike.

Join us at the Tangled Wood as we welcome the members of the Thank the SEALS program!
Each year the Thank the SEALs program have a motorcycle ride to promote awareness, and raise funds for families who lost their loved one in battle. They focus on one Navy SEAL family and one other Military branch family. Serving those who so selflessly served us, the American people, and through their heroic actions fought and died for the very freedoms that we all enjoy every day! We will ride to create awareness, honor, and raise funds promoting Veterans First One Family at a Time!
The Ride 2019 will begin at the Waterfront Convention Center on State Street in Bettendorf, July 20th 2019 and will end at the Tangled Wood, also in Bettendorf Iowa on Devils Glen Road. Meet and greet, speeches, prayer and camaraderie from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Waterfront Convention Center before leaving. The ride will be leaving at approximately 11 a.m.
The Ride 2019 is open to everyone and there is NO registration fee! We want as many people and participants as possible to show their appreciation to the great men and women of our military who fight on our behalf every day, providing the freedoms and liberties that we all get to enjoy! Let’s show them how supportive and thankful we are! Let’s make it a massive ride and show of support!
SEALs, Marine Recon and Gary Chrones will be heading the ride with a police escort from Bettendorf Police Dept., out of the city. Police, Fire and supporters of all kinds will greet us all along the Route with gas stops and a half way point where beverages, hot dogs and chips will be provided. Jose Cerda and Billy Christman will be bringing up the rear taking video and providing anchor support.
This year’s ride ends at the Tangledwood on Devils Glen in Bettendorf Iowa for a fantastic After Ride Party, including a live band, food, beverages and a few words from our Heroes! It’s going to be a fantastic day!
Let’s make this the biggest Ride of Thanks and Honor in Iowa for 2019!
