Your Destination Restaurant

Our 8,000 square foot destination patio was built with YOU in mind. Your eyes will likely first be drawn to the 600 square foot amphitheater housing a nearly 17-foot (yes, feet) television. If you’re more into nature, your eyes will be taken to the green grass and wooded area that serves as a backdrop to our huge stage. If you’re a foodie, you’ll probably head straight for the outdoor kitchen, which serves our full menu, including those famous brick oven pizzas. And, if you’re thirsty, the indoor/outdoor bar will probably monopolize your attention. For the more active folks, there’s a bocce ball court and a couple of bags boards. We’ve made it so that there truly is plenty to do during your outdoor dining experience with the ability to also just kick back and relax!

The indoor bar and restaurant also house plenty of fun! For starters, a bar and tables made by local artisans, with the bar being wrapped in whiskey barrels from a local distillery. Twenty-six indoor televisions, charging stations and wifi ensure your tech needs are met. You can join the Tangled Wood Mug Club and, for those who like a little friendly competition, play Quad Cities trivia or bingo!

With two private event/meeting rooms, you can get a lot of work and/or play accomplished. Need a larger space? We can easily slide back our dividing wall to turn two smaller spaces into one (up to 48 guests). Customize the menu and bring your own cake (with manager approval) but please don’t think you have to be stuck inside on a nice day! We can accommodate your party in the outdoor patio oasis as well.

We’ve booked enough live music gigs to keep everyone thoroughly entertained in the outdoor patio oasis. Whether you like the oldies, country, pop, U2 or a little bit of funk, we’ve got you! There’s plenty of seating and even more green space for dancing and hanging out. Don’t worry, we’ll get those heaters and fire pits fired up when the time is right! We’ll also keep the grill fired up for those looking for a quick bite to eat while enjoying live music and other entertainment. In addition to the large outdoor bar, you’ll have several beer tents to frequent.

When we’re not hosting your favorite bands, we’re using the largest permanently installed TV in the QC (a.k.a. the BIG ASS TV) to show classic movies like Step Brothers and Rocky III. Catch the Iowa Hawkeyes or the upcoming MMA matches and plenty of other events, too. The Tangled Wood in the Bettendorf Quad Cities is your total entertainment destination!
