Tangled Wood Mug Club

First and foremost, get your very own hand-crafted – AND NUMBERED – Mug Club mug. The mug stays in the club throughout your membership year but you get to take it home at the end. There are also gifts, invitations to special events and the members-only newsletter.

Each Tangled Wood Mug Club membership is $75 for the year. Your membership includes:

* A custom-designed beer mug. Each Tangled Wood mug is numbered 1-100. Your mug is assigned to you, so you and you alone will drink from that mug for the entire year.
* An email subscription to our newsletter that includes information on members-only specials and discounts.
* $1 off all draft beers you order all year long! (*Not to be combined with any other offer including happy hour)
* Members will also receive some special gifts throughout their membership year.

To enroll in the club, please fill out an application form and pay for your membership in full. Membership applications must be filled out at The Tangled Wood in person. Memberships are not transferable. You will then be issued your membership card and given your mug number.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I’M A MEMBER?
Each time you come into The Tangled Wood and want to order a beer, please present your membership card to our wait staff and they will gladly retrieve your mug from the wall. You will also receive $1-off* every beer you order to fill your mug.
After you are done using your mug our staff will wash and dry your mug and store it safely on our Mug Wall of fame for you until your next visit. Mugs are not allowed to leave our location throughout the year.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE YEAR?
All memberships end on December 31st of your membership year. In November of each year, we will be asking our current members if they would like to renew their membership for the next year. If you do want to renew, simply fill out a new form, pay the membership fee, and we can even issue you the same membership number for the following year. If you do not want to renew for an additional year, we are sorry to see you go. Stop by The Tangled Wood anytime in January and take your mugs and memories home.

HOW MANY MEMBERS CAN BE IN THE CLUB?
The Tangled Wood Mug Club is limited to 100 members per year. Once our membership club has reached capacity, our year will be closed. Any interested customers can be put on a waiting list for the following year. If there are any available openings for the following year’s club, we will use that waiting list to contact potential members for the following year.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Visit The Tangled Wood at 3636 Tanglewood Road in Bettendorf, IA and ask your server for an application.*

CAN I GIVE THE MUG CLUB AS A GIFT?
If you would like to purchase a membership as a gift, please come in and purchase a membership gift voucher. Gift vouchers are $65 and must be paid in full at the time of purchase. The recipient of your gift will need to bring their voucher into The Tangled Wood and fill out the membership application. Then they will receive their numbered mug and membership card and start receiving their benefits.

WHAT’S THE FINE PRINT?
Members must be at least 21 years old and must be able to present proof of age before filling out the application. Memberships are not transferable. Your mug and all the benefits it holds are for you and you only. No one else is allowed to use or benefit from your mug (violations can result in having your membership and mug revoked).
