Rescue Rocks

Last year, with your assistance, we were able to raise over $20,000 to help our friends at King’s Harvest Pet Rescue. That amount made a great impact on the needs of these animals. Even with that sizable amount there is always a growing need to help these animals without a home. Around 6 to 8 million animals enter shelters each year but only 4.1 million are adopted. We want to keep this giving going throughout the Quad Cities. That’s why this year we have partnered with the Humane Society of Scott County.

What is the event?

The Tangled Wood has managed to book three of the hottest bands in the Quad-Cities to help our cause. These talented individuals are doing their part by rocking our back yard all day long. We also have a silent auction running during the day with some spectacular items to bid on. Not to mention drink and food specials from our amazing kitchen all day long. The Humane Society of Scott County will be bringing some of their furry friends to the event too so you can see who you are helping! They can even answer questions about adoption!

when is it?

Saturday, June 6, 2026. The event kicks off at 2:30 pm. Get there early and get a good spot in the lawn to rock out for a great cause!

can I bring my dog?

Of course! But keep in mind a few things. Dogs must be in the grassy area, they must always be on a leash, and YOU must clean up after your dog. Also, there will be great (but loud) music playing throughout the day, so you might want to ask your dog if they are okay with loud noise first.

If you have any questions, feel free to review our pet policy page here.

who are your sponsors?

Events like these depend on the generosity of our local businesses and community. Their support makes it possible for all these abandoned, abused, and neglected animals to have the second chance they deserve.

Please take the time to thank these local businesses for their extreme generousity.
