Kick off your Independence Day weekend with a heavy dose of rhythm and soul! On Friday, July 3, we are bringing the party to the Wood with the one and only Funktastic 5.
Voted “Best Band in the Quad Cities” multiple times, Funktastic 5 has been an area staple since 2003 for one reason: they know how to tear the roof off. Expect a high-energy, horn-driven journey through the greatest hits of James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Earth, Wind & Fire, mixed with modern grooves from artists like Justin Timberlake. If you aren’t dancing by the end of the first set, you might want to check your pulse!
